Mao's last dancer is a movie that the story is about one boy grew up to be a great ballerino. This movie is about real person is named Li Cinxin.The setting of this movie is America, China, Austraila. I will tell you the main story of this movie.The moive started in America.He was in the car with the ballet school teacher.They showed the preasent first and then it showed past. In the past Li cunxin was living ini the country side. One day the state men came to his school,to elect students. Li cunxin was elected by the state men. The state men elected students to make the crops de ballet. Li cun xin go to practiced hard until he became an adult, and the re was a chance to go to America to study ballet. Li cunxin was elected to go to America. He went to Huston art school. He learned many kinds of ballet skills. He met Elizabeth. One day, there was an important performance. Unfortunately, the main ballerino got injured. So they needed a new person to do the performance. Li cunsin was choosen to be the main ballerino. From this chance, he became a famous ballerino. He penaltly of greatness was very high. But he has a problem. He had to go back to China. If he go back to China, he couldn't be a famous ballerino because every thing in China is not free. So he decided not to go to China. He married with his girlfriend, Elizabeth, without China's permission. China imprisons Li cunxin to impress him to china. They intimidate Licunxin that he couldn't go to China ever since. Finally, he could stay in America. He kept working as a famous ballerino.
In the end of the movie, Li cunxin met his family. In my opinion, I think Ben has very good leadership because he made Licunxin to be a famous ballerino. But I am really confused with this movie's genre. I think it is similar to documentary, because there is about a boy who is anxious to be a great ballterino. The romance scene was more remarkable then he documentary scene. This movie had to put emphasis on criticizing Chinese restraint. But they put emphasis on romance scene. So I felt the movie's balance was not good. Enumerating the happening was really bad. It was showing about the present time, but I suddenly am watching the past. I was really confused about the story, when the time changed. Also I cant concentrate at the movie because there werer so many elements about arts. I like thins movie's documentary part because they gave a lesson. I noticed that I have to be free before I fly. But I don't like enumerating the happenings because it made me very confused.
